Scan your books
Point your camera at the barcode on the back cover. Scan as many as you like: most cookbooks are added in seconds.
For the cookbooks you already own
Cookalogue makes every cookbook on your shelf searchable. Ask for chicken thighs and it tells you the book and the page, in seconds. Your saved Instagram, TikTok and web recipes too.
Why Cookalogue
You own dozens of cookbooks and still end up searching the internet for dinner. The perfect recipe is already on your shelf, you just can't remember which book it's in.
Cookalogue fixes that. Scan the barcode on each book and its whole index becomes searchable: by dish, by ingredient, across your entire collection. Save the recipes you find on Instagram, TikTok and the web, and they sit right alongside your books. Then plan the week, build collections, and ask Mise, our kitchen assistant, what to cook with what's in the fridge. No more flicking through ten books on a Tuesday night.
How it works

Point your camera at the barcode on the back cover. Scan as many as you like: most cookbooks are added in seconds.

Snap the cover and the index pages. Mise reads them and builds a searchable copy, usually in about a minute.
Search by dish or ingredient across every book you own. Cookalogue shows the book and the page. Then it's over to you.
Saved recipes
Paste a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any recipe site and it lands on your shelf, searchable with everything else. No more screenshots, no more scrolling back through your saves.
Meal planner
Add any recipe to breakfast, lunch or dinner in a tap, from your cookbooks or your saved links. Block out the busy nights, keep Takeaway Friday, copy a week you loved, and print it as a menu for the fridge. Or just ask Mise to find something quick and similar to last Tuesday's fish tacos and pop it on next week.
Meet Mise
Tell Mise what's in the fridge or what you feel like, out loud, and he'll search your shelf and point you to the right recipe. He's confident about where things are and humble about cooking: he'll never make up a recipe.

Built with care
Cookalogue shows recipe names and page numbers, never the recipes themselves. Your copy of the book does the rest.
Photos of the dishes you cook stay on your phone. We never upload them.
We don't sell your data or follow you around other apps. Read our privacy policy in plain English.
